Sai Wardha Power Generation Private Limited is a 540MW coal-based thermal power project strategically located at Warora Growth Center, Chandrapur District in Maharashtra. The plant is strategically located in one of the most industrial state of the country, strong power demand & close proximity to the raw-material source. The project comprises of four units of 135 MW each. The project has secured coal linkage, power evacuation, water supply and rail connectivity with Indian Railways network. The project achieved COD in July 2011.

The power generated in the plant is transmitted to the state power grid through dedicated transmission lines.

The design of the plant also facilitates 100% usage of the fly ash produced and zero discharge of water making it environmentally most sustainable plant.
